
LATVIA (Kegums) 5th June 2026 — Infront Moto Racing and the FIM are pleased to announce the provisional calendar for the 2027 FIM SNX World Championship.
The season will open on 16 & 17 January in Rize, Türkiye, marking the fourth consecutive yearthat the FIM SNX World Championship returns to Turkish soil. Set on the breathtaking Handüzü Plateau at 1,800 metres altitude along the Black Sea coast, the Rize-Handüzü Snowcross Track has been a unique and spectacular addition last year on the SNX calendar, with its high-altitude natural setting. The round will welcome the SNX and FIM Women’s Snocross World Championship.
Round 2, scheduled for 30 & 31 January, remains a TBA in terms of venue. The series then heads north to Rovaniemi, Finland on 20 & 21 February, a welcome return to the heartland of snowcross after Finland was absent from the 2026 calendar. With quality snow conditions and a passionate local fan base, Rovaniemi sits at the heart of snowcross country and will give Finland’s top riders, including reigning World Champion Aki Pihlaja, a home crowd to race in front of once again. The Finnish round will also carry extra significance in 2027, as it coincides with the 60th anniversary celebrations of the BRP factory, manufacturer making Lynx and Ski-Doo snowmobiles, a milestone for the entire snowmobile and snowcross community. Rovaniemi is also proudly known as the birthplace of two snowcross legends, Janne Tapio and Tomi Ahmasalo, making it a meaningful venues on the calendar. Along with SNX and WSNX, the FIM European Snowcross Championship will see its first round at this event.
The 2027 season will conclude in Trondheim, Norway on 9 & 10 April, once again crowning the FIM SNX, WSNX and ESNX World Champions at the venue that delivered a stunning 2026 finale in front of 7,000 spectators.
